COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update
To help keep the community safe, Mental Health First Aid classes will be offered online only until further notice, using the Zoom platform. Please ensure your computer has a camera and internal mic capability before you register. Participants will complete a self-paced module for Part One of the course (this takes about two hours). Part Two is participation in an instructor-led four hour group class via Zoom to complete the course. You will receive additional information upon registration.
Registration is $24 per person. Some courses are cost-covered and are subject to availability. Please note: Part One must be completed to be eligible for participation in Part Two.
We have created a webpage with resources for managing stress and anxiety during COVID-19. If you still have questions, please call 303-504-6500.

About Mental Health First Aid
About the Class
Mental Health First Aid is an interactive 8-hour course that presents an overview of mental illness and substance use disorders in the U.S. and introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, builds understanding of their impact, and overviews common treatments. Those who take the 8-hour course to certify as Mental Health First Aiders learn a 5-step action plan encompassing the skills, resources and knowledge to help an individual in crisis connect with appropriate professional, peer, social, and self-help care.
